While some fans may believe the popular reality dating series, Married At First Sight Australia pays its contestants reasonably well, they couldn’t be more wrong especially after a season ten bride was left with no money after filming.
MAFS bride Melinda Willis has already earned the reputation of a strong, confident and take-no crap kind of woman. After-all she is a beauty and fashion CEO with multiple couples under her belt, but it seems Melinda also has a soft side we are yet to see.
Caitlin struggled to find work after MAFS.
(Image: Instagram)Melinda has seemed to have hired her co-star makeup artist Caitlin McConville, who is married to Shannon on the series, at Melly’s Beauty Parlour based in Queensland in which Melinda is the business owner according to her LinkedIn profile.
According to the business’ official website, Caitlin is now a senior technician who has “multi-qualified experience in both lashes and brows.”

A source has informed Yahoo Lifestyle that Caitlin was forced to quit her job in order to film MAFS season ten. After filming ended, the bride was allegedly struggling to find work when Melinda approached her.
Melinda is the owner of numerous companies.

It comes as no surprise that MAFS stars are struggling after filming as season nine star Domenica Calarco confirmed contestants only receive $150 for the day, which does not include groceries or any other living expenses.
But Melinda will have no issues as she is also the founder of Feather Sisters, co-owner of fashion brand BSSA and business owner of MW Lashes.
We have definitely seen Melinda’s tough side after she interrogated MAFS groom, Harrison on his secret girlfriend who he ‘accidently’ lead her to believe they would continue their relationship after the show ended.
However, we are yet to see Melinda’s soft side and we can’t wait to see the bride let down her walls!
