In some of the most exciting reality TV news of 2020 (not the hardest accolade to achieve given the garbage fire year weโve had) Married At First Sight is said to be filming an All-Stars edition of the show.
Weโve seen All Stars versions of almost every reality series to grace our screens From Australian Survivor to MasterChef. Even Bachelor In Paradise can be considered an All-Stars edition, of sorts, for The Bachelor franchise.
Weโre predicting, however, that the two-part MAFS spectacular is going to be like nothing weโve seen before.
With just two episodes in the special we canโt foresee weddings and cutting of cakes but we can guess there will be plenty of drama fuelled by glasses of wine, and maybe even glasses of wine thrown.

Hereโs everything we know so farโฆ
Which MAFSโ stars are returning?
It wouldnโt be a reunion without some of the showโs biggest names, and most memorable enemies on the guest list.
โThere will be lots of fireworks,โ a source told Confidential.
โI donโt know how Channel 9 managed to get them all in the same room, Jessika and Cyrell hate each otherโs guts. Expect drama.โ
The returning stars have now been spotted at the showโs filming location at Lilyfield and according to The Wash includes:
Ines Basic
Cyrell Paule
Jessika Power
Ryan Gallagher
Tracey Jewel
Mike Gunner
Martha Kalifatidis & Michael Brunelli
Dean Wells
Charlene Perera
Ashley Irvin
Troy Delmege
Sarah Roza
Nasser Sultan
Jo McPharlin (aka Foxy Jojo)
Seb Guilhaus & Lizzie Sobinoff

Cyrell and Jessika are almost guaranteed to feud.
(Channel Nine)Which stars have slammed the show?
Not everyone was happy about the news of a reunion episode. Many of the showโs former stars came out to slam the idea of an All-Star special. And, given their terrible experiences with the series, we canโt blame them.
โWhatttttt! Saw this and thought it may be for people they purposely mismatched, to this time finding them a genuine match,โ Melissa Lucarelli from season six wrote.
While Clare Verrall from season two simply commented: โNope.โ
โRatings, ratings, rating,โ Sean Donnelly, who was matched with โFoxyโ Jo McPharlin in season five, added.

Sean and Jo were one of many unsuccessful couples.
(Channel Nine)When will it premiere?
Channel Nine confirmed the premiere date with a juicy teaser for the special, that despite lasting a mere 45 seconds was filled with excitement and scandal.
Posting to the official MAFS social media pages, Channel Nine shared the first look at the explosive TV special and revealed it will air on Sunday January 31st.
โOur most memorable brides and grooms are back, and thereโs unfinished businessโฆโ the trailer was cryptically captioned.
It is safe to say the All-Star special will air before the 2021 season of Married At First Sight which has already been filmed.

What will Nasser get up to this time?
(Channel Nine)How will it work?
Donโt expect bouquets of flowers, white gowns and exchanging of vows for this MAFSโ event. With just two episodes, and some stars returning with their partners, we donโt foresee and weddings or match-making taking place.
What we do expect is a LOT of drama, behind-the-scenes secrets revealed, burning questions answered, long-standing feuds addressed (but likely remaining unresolved) and general where are they now catch-ups, most likely in a typical dinner party or commitment ceremony style format.
