Just when we thought Married At First Sight‘s ninth season couldn’t possibly get more dramatic, police have now confirmed they’re investigating the OnlyFans photo saga and the glass-smashing incident.
The two scandals involving feuding brides Olivia Frazer and Domenica Calarco have made national headlines in recent weeks, prompting a full-blown police investigation.
Police are looking into the distribution of a nude photo.
(Image: Nine)NSW Police confirmed to news.com.au that a complaint was made on February 24, 2022, about an incident in November 2021 at a property in Bargo, where Domenica smashed a wine glass at the couples’ retreat.
Domenica broke the glass on the dinner table in frustration after her weeks-long feud with Olivia boiled over during a heated argument.
A NSW Police spokesperson said the inquiry into the now-infamous incident is ongoing and also confirmed that they’re looking into the nude photo scandal.
The glass-smashing incident is also being investigated.
(Image: Nine)On March 19 this year, another complaint was made at the Inner West Police area in Sydney about the alleged distribution of an image without consent.
This inquiry stems from Olivia sending Domenica’s nude OnlyFans photo to fellow bride Selina Chhaur, which then became a huge topic of discussion at the latest dinner party.
MAFS viewers slammed Olivia for her decision to circulate the photo amongst the group, with some claiming she should face legal repercussions for her actions.
A Change.org petition with over 124,000 signatures and counting is calling for action to be taken against Olivia.
“Tonight it was revealed the participant ‘Olivia Frazer’ shared an intimate image of another participant ‘Domenica Calarco’ with the other participants in the program, without Domenica’s consent,” the petition’s description says.
“As such, I would like to petition the e-safety commissioner to immediately take action against Olivia Frazer.”
The petition’s creator Pete Joyce claimed he had spoken to Domenica, who was “currently in the process of obtaining legal advice, and has asked us to keep the petition and momentum going for the time being”.
A Channel Nine spokeswoman told Now To Love that it “takes its obligations in respect to the safety, health and wellbeing of the participants of this program extremely seriously.”
“We would always cooperate with any police matter,” the statement read.
