Married At First Sight‘s Michael is often associated with cheating scandals and couple swaps, but some may not know that he’s also a dad-of-one.
The 29-year-old revealed some rare insights about his son via an Instagram Q&A including why he tends to keep him out of the spotlight.
Michael has chosen to keep his son away from the MAFS madness.
(Image: Nine Network)“I don’t talk about him often,” Michael confessed in the video.
“My son’s name is Connor, I’ve kept him well away from all this nonsense, he’s an absolute gorgeous boy. He’ll be nearly three soon and I love him with all my heart.”
Michael shares Connor with his ex-partner and revealed to TV WEEK ahead of the MAFS premiere that there were “difficulties in the birthing suite”.
“It brought me to tears. Scary stuff when you think two lives are about to be lost,” he confessed.

“She sort of accepted the work and everything, but then the work and working away, she became really needy and especially when the baby was around it was like, ‘Where are you going? When are you coming home?’ And it was like, this has got to stop, like settle down,” he said.
“She left so we had a big argument, and she gave me the baby and was like, ‘Right, you’ve got him for four days’,” Michael added.

Michael has introduced new girlfriend KC, whom he met on MAFS, to his son and the two even have plans of starting their own family.
“I think KC would be the best mum,” Michael told New Idea shortly after they went pubic with their relationship. “A little dancing pop star! We are excited to start the next chapter.”
MAFS star Natasha previously revealed that things were getting serious between Michael and KC after Michael’s sister started following KC on social media – something his on-screen wife Stacey never experienced.
“Michael’s baby mama told Stacey that Michael’s reached out and said he wants KC to meet her and the kid,” Natasha told Now To Love in March.
