Married At First Sight’s Jackson Lonie has revealed the steep cost of his smile transformation, and it is more than you think!

Speaking on 2Day FM’s Hughesy, Ed and Erin, the former MAFS groom confessed he had spent more than $10,000 on veneers for his top row of teeth and Invisalign on his bottom teeth.

His new teeth weren’t cheap.

“Getting veneers I’ve just had so much more confidence, like [my] shoulders are back a lot more and I’ve got a bit of swagger in my step,” Jackson said.

The radio hosts loved Jackson’s new and improved confidence. But it took some pushing for Jackson to reveal the true cost after explaining that he “had a fair bit done”.

Erin asked how much the procedure cost when Jackson responded with a vague “they’re not the cheapest… it was in the high thousands.”

“Almost $10,000? Is that fair to say?” Dave Hughes asked.

“It is a very expensive smile.”

“It’s north of that,” Jackson replied. “It is a very expensive smile.”

It is common knowledge that veneers require natural teeth to be shaved down, but Jackson assured it isn’t as much as some would believe.

“So if your veneers were stolen in the middle of the night, you wouldn’t look ridiculous?” Hughesy asked, and the MAFS star said no.

According to the Daily Mail Australia, Jackson underwent the transformation in May 2022 with Dr Dees at Vogue Dental Studios in Melbourne and applied Picasso Porcelain Veneers to his top teeth.

The company’s website stated veneers can cost from $2500 to $3500 per tooth depending on the treatment’s complexity. During the radio segment, Jackson said the veneers took approximately five weeks, meanwhile the Invisalign took roughly 20 to 25 weeks.

But cost could not compare to the confidence Jackson gained as he revealed always feeling “a little bit insecure” about his two front teeth which overlapped.

“I’ve always kind of wanted to get my teeth done… getting veneers was just the next step I guess,” he told Daily Mail Australia.
