But the next day, the 27-year-old beautician told Nova radio duo Fitzy & Wippa that Mitch “cut her off” around two months ago and they haven’t spoken since.

Now, Ella exclusively reveals to Woman’s Day that she “f–king dodged a bullet” when he left her adding that she thinks it’s due to her forgiving nature.

“I was really putting all my eggs in one basket with him.”

“I give people too many chances. Even though my gut’s always right…” she says. “I should probably stop doing that to be honest.”

“I’m a very patient person, and I was going to give him some more time. I was really putting all my eggs in one basket with him.”

During her radio interview, Ella revealed that she hadn’t seen Mitchell since the reunion.

“He definitely started to drop off though and fizzle out. And it was probably about two months ago. Articles hit the media and then he sort of just cut me off,” she admitted on-air.

The MAFS star also shared how she felt about the photos that emerged of him with their co-star, Tamara Djordjevic.

“I’m still just healing and getting over stuff with Mitchell and Tamara, and just all the crap that’s been going on in the past few months, it still gets to me.”

The 27-year-old also acknowledged her close friendship with her co-star Brent Vitiello, but shut down any romance rumours.

“I don’t want to rush into anything if I’m not feeling ready for it. And I’m just not ready,” she shared.

At their final vows, Mitch shocked his bride by revealing he hadn’t decided whether to move forward in their relationship.

He asked Ella for “patience” and said he would not be forced into making a decision about their romance at that point in time.

“I just can’t give you the commitment I know you want.”

“It’s difficult to see a bright future with you when it seems the longer that we spend with each other, the more difficult the relationship gets,” Mitch told her.

“I’m sorry, Ella, but right now, I just can’t give you the commitment I know you want. I know this is not what you want to hear, but what I ask from you today is patience, but all I can be honest and this is how I feel.”
