It hasn’t quite been smooth sailing since. From Bryce copping backlash for saying his wife “isn’t ugly” to constant allegations of a “secret girlfriend” from multiple sources, the couple have been shrouded in scandals.

All the clues, however, tell another surprising story as the couple appear to still be together post-show.

Bryce faced a lot of backlash over his comments.

The first hint at a success story came soon after their wedding night with the couple appearing on Today Extra together, from Melbourne where Melissa lives.

Despite originally being based in Canberra for his gig on Hit 104.7fm, Bryce has been spotted in Melbourne with Melissa on countless occasions looking very domestic.

Southern Cross Austereo, the parent company for hit 104.7fm, also recently confirmed to Radio Today the MAFS star has resigned from his Canberra-based role.

Could that be a sign he’s making a permanent move to Victoria?

Setting up in Melbourne full time?

Another hint has come via both the bride and groom’s Instagram accounts.

Both Melisa and Bryce shared photos of themselves indoor rock climbing to their individual profiles and in January Canberra-based Bryce shared some photos of himself down in Melissa’s hometown of Melbourne.

Not convinced? Well the couple’s recent interview with TV WEEK where they discuss their wedding and baby plans, should just about do it.

“There’s no secret, we just spoke about getting engaged and married for real,” Bryce revealed. “Within the next year, I definitely say there’ll be a proposal – and the wedding won’t be too far after that.”

If they tie the knot for real, the couple say they’re excited at the prospect of “starting a family together”.

“We’re not getting any younger, so we want to look at that sooner rather than later,” Bryce says.

“I think we’ll be staying together forever. Well, hopefully – I don’t want to let her go!”

Following the commitment ceremony the couple confirmed what many fears likely feared but knew was inevitable – Bryce and Melissa chose to stay together.

Taking to Instagram, Melissa confirmed she was still loved up with her TV groom, writing: “My heart is full. I love this man so much and we truly make each other happy every single day.

“While it might be hard for some to believe, it is my decision, my life and my choice. And I choose him. He is my partner, my lover and the man that I have fallen head over heels for. Our love story is what I asked for; an all consuming and unconditional love. And I have found that with Bryce ❤️💋🥰.”
