Controversial Married At First Sight couple Bryce Ruthven and Melissa Rawson have sparked a debate following a dicey encounter at a football game.
While attending an AFL match between the Sydney Swans and St Kilda Saints, the former reality stars noticed a fellow sports-goer a few rows in front taking sneaky pictures of them before forwarding them onto a friend.
Enraged by the behaviour, Bryce took to Instagram to document the act and ask his followers for their opinions.
“We had a date night at the footy tonight watching our @sydneyswans play. Two rows infront of us for a large part of the night, @lissrawson noticed a lady trying to take sneaky photos of us watching the game. Eventually she got a photo us that she was happy to pass onto others, good enough to circle us in anyway,” he wrote.
“Eventually we were over it and decided to get a video of her doing it because (a) we simply wanted to enjoy watching a close game of footy and it was kind of ruining the night, and (b) in the past we have had people on numerous occasions take photos/videos of us, pass it onto trashy gossip pages and spin a ridiculous story because it seems cool at the time to be negative towards people they don’t like. As a ‘ratbag couple’, we would love to know your thoughts on this, and if you think it’s fair game or inappropriate?”
The MAFS ‘villain’ went on to say that he and Melissa are always polite to fans who say hi and ask for a photo upfront.
“This certainly isn’t the first time, and won’t be the last, and are not putting this post up from a whinging perspective, to sound arrogant or anything along those lines, we are just curious to know your thoughts on this happening?” he asked.
“As two normal everyday people who appeared on a reality TV show, we get it.. people might be curious, etc, we don’t shy away from that.
“Hopefully if Amanda sees us at another game of footy next time, she might just ask instead! Atleast she’s a @sydneyswans fan ❤️.”

If Bryce wanted opinions, he certainly got them. And they were very mixed.
Some were firmly on the MAFS alum’s side, deeming the behaviour “rude” and suggesting he should have called her out on it in person.
“I see you guys all the time as I live and work near you. Never have I felt the urge to snap a sneaky pic or even approach you. You are entitled to a private life with your family without being harassed,” one fan wrote.
Meanwhile, others suggested Bryce’s retaliation was hypocritical as he also filmed the woman.
“OK so u don’t like her bagging you out? But ain’t you doing the same to her?” a user penned.
Bryce was introduced into the public eye on season eight of MAFS in controversial circumstances.
After admitting to Melissa that she wasn’t his type, and ranking her fourth when it came to which bride he was most attracted to… let’s just say the radio host wasn’t a fan-favourite.
Despite all the backlash, Bryce and Melissa are still together and have since welcomed twin boys, Levi and Tate, as they prepare to head down the aisle for real.
