EXCLUSIVE: Married At First Sight’s Booka on her harrowing ordeal with a “stalker” who broke into her house

It’s been a tumultuous week on Married At First Sight for bride and musician Booka Nile but the drama off screen has proved much more terrifying.

Reports began circulating today that the reality star has faced “a few stalkers” since finding fame on the show.

Madlin, Booka’s bridesmaid at her TV wedding and real life housemate, revealed the scary ordeal to So Dramatic podcast.

“Men who have expressed interest in her and a few guys who have gotten a bit over excited and they have not left her alone,” she said.

“He’s been pretty close [to breaking in],” she said, adding that “literally as soon as we go outside, he just runs away.”

“It’s super freaky,” she added. “She’s had this as a musician, but having people invested in her personal relationships is different. It’s pretty freaky.”

Booka’s fame on the show and as a musician has garnered unwanted attention.

We recently caught up with Booka to chat about the show and was shocked to learn the incident in question had happened just before our catch up.

“Getting broken into that was about an hour ago! I dropped my housemates son off at school and then I got a frantic call from her saying that whilst she was breastfeeding her baby daughter a guy broke in and stole my work phone and luckily nothing else but I’ve been sitting on the phone to the police for the last hour and my mum,” Booka told TV WEEK.

“Now we’re just waiting for the police to go to the location that my find my iphone.”

The incident occurred right before out chat.

She then went on to add: “I’m okay, I wasn’t at home, I feel awful for my best friend and housemate.

“I can’t imagine feeding your baby daughter in your other room and having a strange man walking around the house.”

“It’s definitely the universe telling us to get a new rental because we have an asbestos laundry out the back too.”
