Her romance with Grant Crapp may have ended in disaster but Love Island star Tayla Damir is officially off the market and has announced her engagement to boyfriend Nathan Broad.
Taking to Instagram, the 24-year-old shared a video of the sweet moment her AFL player beau popped the question as well as the first pic of the dazzling ring.
โMy forever ๐ @nathanbroad,โ she captioned the post.
โI canโt wait to spend the rest of my life with my best friend โค๏ธโ
Taylaโs followers were quick to congratulate her on the happy news.
โAwww congratulations ๐,โ penned Love Island host Sophie Monk, who announced her own engagement a few months prior.
โOmg perfect! Congratulations you two. ๐,โ exclaimed Married At First Sightโs Martha Kalifatidis.
โWait. Whaaaaaaaaat. OMG! Didnโt see that coming at the start of the video. ๐ Congrats hunny. Beautiful news. So happy for you ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐,โ noted AFL WAG Bec Judd.
Nathan revealed in his own Instagram post that the pandemic dashed his original proposal plans.
โCovid ruined the first plan but it was never going to stop me from proposing to my best friend. Knew these cameras would come in handy one day,โ he wrote.
โLove you forever Tay โค๏ธ๐.โ

In December, Tayla shared an adorable montage of the couple captioning it: โLifeโs thrown us some challenges this year. 3 quarantines, living in 3 states and being separated for over 3 months didnโt even come close to putting a dent in my love for you.โ
โThanks for making what should have been a horrible year, completely worth it.โ
She also hinted that an engagement was on the cards when she shared a post for Nathan on his April birthday.
โHappy birthday to my favourite human๐ Canโt wait to grow old and wrinkled with you ๐ต๐ฝ๐ด๐ผ,โ she wrote.

(Credit: Nine)Speaking on the Shameless podcast in January, Tayla confessed that her split with Grant Crapp, with whom she won the first season of Love Island with, wasnโt heartbreak in her eyes.
โIn the nicest way possible, that wasnโt heartbreak to me, that was more embarrassment. That was more โOK this situation sucks and I fell for this,'โ she said.
โIt was six weeks โ it was not โThis is the person that Iโm going to marry.โ Yes it felt like that being trapped in a little bubble at the time but then coming out and realising that I felt so much more heartbreak over past relationships, I looked at this as โYou know what, youโre nothing, get away from me.'โ
Grant meanwhile welcomed his daughter Charli with partner Lucy Cartwright in April.
The Love Island winner infamously had a secret relationship with Lucy during his time on the show.
