“I couldn’t be happier,” Tayla, 21, reveals to TV WEEK. “The show taught me a lot, not only about myself, but others.”

“I was able to meet so many amazing people and made friendships I will treasure forever,” she continues. “The show has opened so many amazing doors, and funnily enough, allowed me to find my Mr Right!”

Although Tayla and Grant’s very public break up was over more controversial terms, Dom and Shelby’s split was slightly more amicable.

Fans began to see the cracks appear in Dom and Shelby’s relationship towards the end of the show, particularly after the contestants undertook a lie detector test.

After failing to tell the truth (according to the detector) on a number of questions about his feelings for Shelby, things became tense when the subject turned to Tayla.

When quizzed if he had a crush on Tayla, Dom denied any feelings. However the detector said otherwise, much to Shelby’s dismay.

Shelby confirmed the split in an Instagram post in early August and commended her former partner, however said they were never official outside the Villa.

As for Tayla and Dom, the pair now spend their time enjoying each other’s company which they regularly share online through their Instagram accounts.

Recently the pair ticked off one of their bucket list items, which was to climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge together.
