Jaxon Human sent Love Island fans into a frenzy last week when he revealed he had taken on the infamous Australian Ninja Warrior course.
But for fans hoping to catch another glimpse of the Charlie Hunnam-lookalike on the small screen, they were left disappointed by the reality TV star’s latest Instagram update.
On Tuesday night, Jaxon shared a post to his Instagram Story revealing that, actually, he won’t be appearing on the show after all.
“So for everyone watching Ninja, my run is not going to be aired this year,” the Love Island hottie wrote.
“I am not sure why but thanks again for all the support.”
But turns out there’s a very good reason for the reality star’s mysterious removal from series.
A Channel Nine spokesperson said that Jaxon was only due to time constraints, revealing, “With so many Ninjas competing it’s sadly impossible to show everyone’s run.”
But regardless of his absence from this season’s episodes, his stint on the course did at least bless us with some incredible eye-candy in the form of his shirtless snaps.
In the images previously shared to his social media account, the buff reality star was dressed in only red shorts and sneakers and looked to be concentrating pretty hard as he attempted the difficult course, which not one person could beat last year.
Jaxon is not the only famous name from reality TV to have appeared on Australian Ninja Warrior in the past.
Among the other familiar faces to have previously tried their luck on the gruelling course are The Bachelor’s Tim Robards and Married At First Sight’s Bronson Norrish.
Speaking to OK! at the time, Tim revealed the course “is freakishly intense – so much so that only seven athletes have managed to complete it worldwide,” AND his Ninja Warrior attempt and lead-up training comes while still recovering from bicep surgery.
“I had to take anti-inflammatories and PRP injections just to train,” he said, emphasising that his body wasn’t in peak condition. “I was struggling with tendonitis in both arms after surgery.”
