If you haven’t seen Love Island’s Cassie Lansdell audition for X Factor UK, you really need to stop what you are doing and watch it immediately.
Back in 2013, when Cass was just 20-years-old, she and an unidentified friend auditioned for the hit TV show as a duo, dubbed Duplex.

The pair were dressed to impress in matching outfits, complete with bow ties and scarves, and performed of Cheryl Cole’s (Liam Payne’s ex) songs Call My Name.
It was clear that they were very passionate about their performance (WATCH IN THE PLAYER ABOVE), however the judges were, um, not so impressed.
Made up of Pussycat Doll and Australia’s Got Talent judge Nicole Scherzinger, matriach of the Osborne family Sharon Osborne, Take That’s Gary Barlow and music producer Louis Walsh, the panel cringed as Cassie and her friend harmonised and “rapped”.

Obviously, this video is an absolute gem, but it’s nothing compared to Cassie meeting none other than Ed Sheeran!
