This year, the contestants will be living it up in sunny Fiji rather than the Spanish isle of Mallorca like last year.
“Once again, our Islanders will take up residence in a spectacular luxury villa in the hope of finding love,” the ad on the official website reads.
“But to stay on the island, they need to couple up – and more importantly – win the hearts of the public.”
When casting, producers were on the lookout for singles aged 18-35 that are “warm, honest, open and truly looking for love.” But we’ll have to wait and see who will be starring on the show this year.

To coincide with the European summer last year, the show was filmed live in late May and ran until July.
Grant Crapp and Tayla Damir were crowned the winners and split the $50,000 prize money but broke up just two weeks after the end of filming. What’s more, things became even more scandalous when it was revealed Grant had a secret girlfriend while the show was filming!
Meanwhile, runner up Eden Dally may not have had his happily ever after with his on-screen girlfriend Erin Barnett, but is now expecting his first child with Married At First Sight‘s Cyrell Paule.
Will this year’s applicants be more successful?
