For those unable to tune in live, the series will also be available to stream for free on SBS On Demand.

Despite being a reality television fan favourite, it may come as a surprise that this is actually Khanh’s first ever cooking television show.

As part of the series, Khanh met with local producers from all corners of Australia.

He recently told Yahoo Lifestyle that having a cooking show was his ”end goal” when he first entered the culinary world.

”I’m over the moon about this, I cannot be happier,” Khanh exclaimed excitedly.

”This was something that I’ve wanted to do since my first season on MasterChef.

”I wanted to do a cooking show that had travel incorporated into it where I could learn about new ingredients and culture and people, and this is kind of like an amalgamation of all those things so it’s super exciting.”

Khanh also swapped his high tech kitchen for the beach.

According to SBS, the show will see Khanh travel from the ”rugged coastline of Tasmania to the remote mangroves of Far North Queensland” where the celebrity chef will explore each location and dive deep into the local produce.

From diving for abalone in Port Lincoln, to spearing mud crabs, Khanh will be swapping the stainless-steel kitchen of his high-rise Melbourne apartment for an open fire or the back of a four-wheel drive.

”I love learning about different cultures and cuisines. Finding new and exciting ingredients and cooking in the wild is what really thrills me. I can’t believe that I get to travel around Australia in this new show,” Khanh said.
