The actress has done everything from tackling her fears to showing the country her sassy side.

But now she’s had the opportunity to speak about a family tragedy.

Sitting with Danny Green and Jackie Gillies, the trio were chatting about the boxer’s charity the coward’s punch campaign – which aims to stop one-punch assaults.

The 60-year-old mum recounted the moment her family’s life changed forever.

Kerry broke down as she spoke about her boys.

Her son Callum Croft, who is now 21, was attacked by a group of his peers when he was younger.

His twin brother Jai wasn’t able to get there in time to save him, with Kerry explaining that he was “not strong enough” to defend him.

The shocking event scarred both of her boys.

“My two young ones had a terrible dent when they were younger,” she told her I’m A Celeb pals.

“Cal went to stick up for a kid and Jai, his twin brother, wasn’t near him. By the time he got into the room, Cal was getting his head kicked in.”

Breaking down, she continued, “Do you know one of my boys, [Jai’s] personality changed forever after that. What he saw, he saw his brother just kicked and he couldn’t – he wasn’t strong enough to help.”

Danny is hugely passionate about ending punching attacks – having legally renamed the assault “King Hit” to “Coward Punch.”

Danny, clearly shattered by Kerry’s story, said, “That would be hard to see, for a brother to see. And not be able to do anything about it. It would be very tough.”

Crying, she remarked, “I know. And the one who got kicked in the head. He’s the one who has the brain seizures, he is really.”

Comforting the brave mum, Danny admitted he believes the people who attack others need to be properly punished with the law.

Kerry co-parents her twin with builder Mark Croft and is also mum to her son Sam, 27, who she shares with writer/producer Mac Gudgeon.
