While it doesn’t have the best track record for success stories, Married At First Sight has birthed some fairytale romances.
Now, two of the show’s couples have reunited following some very exciting news.
Season six golden couple Cam Merchant and Jules Robinson were all smiles as they joined freshly engaged couple Kerry Knight and Johnny Balbuziente, who were matched together during season eight.
Sharing a black-and-white photo from their sweet reunion, mum-of-one Jules wrote: “Celebrating these two beautiful friends for life. Congratulations on your engagement! Who says #mafs isn’t real #truelove #truefriends.”
Her husband Cam, who she married legally in November 2019, was quick to share his support in the comments below, writing: “Tonight was so very special! When @johnnybalbuziente has got his hands waving around & is 5 decibels louder than everyone.. You know it’s a magic evening @kerryknighttt 🙌🏽🤣❤️.”
Clearly thankful for the friendship of their fellow MAFS alumni, Kerry and Johnny shared their gratitude in the comments.
“Always so much fun – thank you for such a beautiful night! Love you xx,” Johnny wrote.
“Love you both so much! So lucky! So grateful! Xxxx.” Kerry added.
In a special touch, Kerry also shared a photo from the celebrations to her own Instagram, where Jules was rocking both her own and Kerry’s engagement ring.

“Keeping the best week going with my best girl! ❤️💍🥂 (This looks like it’s our engagement Jules 😂),” Kerry captioned the photo.
“Thank you both so much! @cammerchant.”
The get together comes three days after Kerry and Johnny announced their engagement two years after meeting at the MAFS altar.
The couple revealed the exciting news on Sunday night, taking to Instagram with a loved-up selfie on a boat floating on Sydney Harbour.
Posing with champagne in hand, the pair grinned as Kerry showed off her sparkling engagement ring and Johnny captioned the snap with a simple “Forever”.
Fellow former MAFS stars were quick to congratulate the newly engaged pair.
Cam Merchant and Jules Robinson FaceTimed them to share their well wishes, while Beck Zemek commented: “Love you guys so much!!! Still can’t get the smile off my face.”
Other stars also cheered on Johnny for finally popping the question, former Bachelor Matty J commenting “How bl–dy good – huge congrats guys”.
It was love at first sight for the reality TV contestants, with Kerry and Johnny clearly smitten upon meeting on their wedding day on Married At First Sight.
“As soon as I saw her bright smile… the breath just came out of me. She’s stunning, she’s incredible. I seriously can not wipe this smile off my face,” Johnny told the cameras after meeting his bride.
“He put me at ease as soon as I saw him,” Kerry said. “He looks really kind. I’m stoked.”
