While neither of them actually won the series, with Peter Corbett ultimately pocketing the $250,000 cash prize, the pair won the hearts of the nation and quickly became Australiaโs ultimate reality TV couple.
In 2004, the couple married in their own spin-off reality TV show named Marty & Jess: An Outback Wedding.
However 15 months later the pair divorced, with Jess going on to focus on her career studying law and becoming a radio host.
Marty meanwhile went on to remarry, and now has three children with his second wife Lexi.

Jess and Marty fell head-over-heels in love during the second season of Big Brother.

โIโm not an exhibitionist, but you do kind of forget and you like the intimacy, you feel like youโve got an ally, you get a little cosy and before too long itโs the dancing doona all over again,โ Jess explained during an interview on Triple Mโs Moonman In The Morning this week.
โItโs just a comfort thing. Dad said to me when I got out, โCouldnโt you wait?โ but when the intense chemistry is there and youโre unable to leave, itโs undeniable,โ she added.

The pair tied the knot in their own spin-off show but divorced just over a year later.

As for why the seemingly loved-up poster couple split soon after tying the knot, the blonde beauty admitted the chemistry quickly fizzled out.
โHeโs got a happy ending with another lovely lady, theyโve got a family and heโs all loved up. Heโs back on the farm,โ Jess, who describes herself as โembarrassingly single, mused of her ex.
