For the last four weeks, celebrities have been battling it out in the South African jungle, facing off against the elements, stomach-turning Tucker Trials, and at times, even each other!
Only three well-known personalities – Miguel Maestre, Dale Thomas and Rhonda Burchmore – made it all the way to I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here’s final battle for glory.
In the end, it was Miguel who reigned supreme. During nail-biting scenes, hosts Julia Morris and Dr Chris Brown revealed the celebrity chef was the latest star to be crowned King of the jungle, winning $100,000 for his chosen charity, R U OK?.
Family man Miguel was in tears when he was reunited with his wife of 10 years Sascha Newport, and their two children, daughter Claudia, nine, and Morgan, five.
“I want to say thank you to the people I look up to, the people I love the most. That is my family, my beautiful wife Sascha, Claudia and Morgan. I want to say thank you to the family back at home supporting,” he said after his win.
He also thanked campmates Dale and Rhonda.
The sixth season of I’m A Celeb was filled with drama, emotion and entertainment.
Viewers watched on as Married At First Sight’s Ryan Gallagher struck up an unlikely romance with Geordie Shore’s Charlotte Crosby.
American gossip guru Perez Hilton stirred up trouble and was involved in some of the most dramatic moment – who could forget the infamous #Bananagate, where he raged after he disagreed with Ryan about how they should split the banana rations.

The season was not without its heartwarming moments, including when Love Island’s Erin Barnett spoke candidly about her debilitating battle with endometriosis, causing a touching reaction from Miguel. Another tear-jerker was Perez Hilton and Myf Warhurst’s discussion about IVF, adoption and surrogacy.
Elsewhere, AFL star Billy Brownless opened up about how difficult it was to move on from his wife’s well-publicised affair with his best mate.
In lighter moments around the I’m A Celeb camp, Rhonda spilled about her memorable encounters with some of the world’s biggest stars, including Nicole Kidman and Princess Diana.
But it was the Tucker Trials which really pushed the celebrities out of their comfort zones, when they undertook physical challenges and ate some stomach-churning items in order to win food for their campmates.
Miguel’s win means he is the reigning champ of the Australian version of the reality series, succeeding Richard Reid who was crowned King of the Jungle in 2019.
