Jamie Durie has signed on as an expert judge for the upcoming season of House Rules.
The veteran DIY designer and television host will sit on the judging panel alongside design and style consultant Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and Wendy Moore. Jamie will be replacing Drew Heath who appeared on the seriesโ panel in 2018. Johanna Griggs will head up the team as host.

Jamie has previously hosted 52 primetime design shows worldwide, including a variety of Australian landscape design and renovation series such as Backyard Blitz, The Block, Australiaโs Best Backyards, The Outdoor Room and The Living Room.
He has scored three nominations for the Most Popular Presenter award at the TV WEEK Logie Awards, and won the award for Most Popular New Talent in 2001 for his break-out role on Backyard Blitz.
Jamie says he is โexcitedโ to return to Seven, and begin work on the reality series.

House Rules sees six teams, made up of everyday Australians, take turns renovating each otherโs homes, while receiving scores and feedback from the panel of judges about their renovation and design skills.
The top-scoring team at the end of the interior renovations, backyard blitz renovations, and the โgive-backโ renovation, is also awarded prize money along with their newly-renovated home. In 2018, NSW country couple Toad and Mandy were awarded $355,000 prize-money after taking out the top score.
