One of the five farmers is set to leave Farmer Wants A Wife this week โ€“ and itโ€™s for the saddest of reasons. He receives a phone call from his mother, telling him a family member has passed away suddenly.

โ€œIt was really unexpected,โ€ the farmer reveals to TV WEEK. โ€œIt was really hard, because youโ€™re dealing with a lot of emotions from the show and are stressed out โ€“ and then, boom.โ€

Which farmer walks?

He says the family member who died would have wanted him to stay on the show and keep looking for love, but he didnโ€™t know if he could continue.

โ€œPart of me was like, โ€˜I just canโ€™t, because I just donโ€™t think I can be myself,'โ€ he explains. โ€œI didnโ€™t think I could give the girls 100 per cent.โ€

Then, one of the girls drops a bombshell herself: she wants to go home because she hasnโ€™t developed romantic feelings for him.

โ€œShe was my ideal girl and I felt comfortable I was going to pick her,โ€ the farmer says. โ€œIt was very, very heartbreaking, like smashing a nail into a plank of wood with a hammer until it breaks.

The cast wonโ€™t be the same without one of their farmers.

โ€œFar out! That was the worst day of my life. Having to deal with that, and the cameras are rolling, and youโ€™re thinking about your familyโ€ฆ

โ€œI just couldnโ€™t deal with any more bad news. I was just like, โ€˜I want to go home. I want to be with my family right now.'โ€

Months down the track, the farmer says heโ€™s doing โ€œall rightโ€ and believes he will find love one day.

โ€œSomeone will come along,โ€ he says. โ€œWhen something bad happens, something goodโ€™s got to come for you.โ€

So would he return on a future season of Farmer Wants a Wife?

โ€œIf they couldnโ€™t find anybody, maybe Iโ€™d think about it,โ€ he says.

Justine reveals: โ€œI resented Neil a lotโ€

Last week, Justine was at the centre of a furious argument on Farmer Wants A Wife.

Now, sheโ€™s admitted she struggled with the whole idea of the show.

โ€œAt times, Iโ€™d get really angry at myself for even going there,โ€ she explains to TV WEEK. โ€œI was like, โ€˜What am I doing?โ€™ If someone showed more interest in another woman over you in a different situation, you wouldnโ€™t put up with it.โ€

Justine walked away from Neil at the country ball.

The Queensland eyelash technician, who was vying for the heart of NSW farmer Neil, hadnโ€™t watched an episode of the show before applying.

But she says the other girls, especially Karissa, shared her frustrations about the farmer.

โ€œHe began by being โ€˜Neutral Neilโ€™ and wouldnโ€™t show any of us any affection,โ€ she says. โ€œThen, when he did show us affection, weโ€™d all get cranky at the girl and at him.

โ€œI found myself resenting him a lot, because I felt like he almost had the upper hand.โ€

Justine didnโ€™t handle the Neilโ€™s affections for the other women.

Justine, 36, reveals that on the night of the argument at the B&S ball, she tricked Neil by saying sheโ€™d seen him kissing someone.

โ€œI didnโ€™t actually see anything,โ€ she confesses.

โ€œI just wanted to see if heโ€™d admit it, and he told me heโ€™d kissed Karissa.โ€

The mum-of-two left her children โ€“ Billy, eight, and Naomi, six โ€“ with her ex-husband to go on Farmer. Happily, the kids didnโ€™t miss her too much.

โ€œI brought it up with them, and Iโ€™m having all this mum guilt, but theyโ€™re like, โ€˜I donโ€™t remember that,'โ€ she says. โ€œThey donโ€™t actually even remember me being gone now.โ€
