It’s time for Farmer Brenton to decide whether he wants to spend the rest of his life with Sophie or Rachel. But if Rachel can’t tell him how she’s feeling, does she even stand a chance of being chosen?
In Farmer Wants A Wife this week, Brenton visits both Sophie and Rachel in their home towns and meets their families, to help him make his decision.
When he arrives at Rachel’s house in Perth, he says he can definitely see a future with her – but she hasn’t told him how she feels, and it’s weighing on his mind.
“When it was top two, I definitely was falling in love with him,” Rachel, 22, tells TV WEEK. “It was just a matter of time before I told him. It’s something special between two people to say you’re falling in love, and I wanted to make sure it was the right time.”
Rachel only has until the end of Brenton’s visit to Perth to open up to him.
“But I think I had a little bit of fear of rejection from my past,” she explains. “I didn’t want to fully tell him how I was feeling just in case he wasn’t feeling the same way.”
Rachel’s twin sister Chelsea, who made it to Farmer Matt’s final three, gives Rachel a push.
“Chelsea pretty much told me to not be scared of the outcomes, but focus on the present,” Rachel says. “She knew that if I didn’t tell him I’d regret it.”
Will Rachel get the words out?
Meanwhile, Farmer Brad needs to make a choice between Morgan and Clare. When he visits Clare in Tamworth, NSW, she gives him a heads-up before he meets her family.
“My brother has never liked anyone I’ve dated,” she declares.
Will Clare’s brother like Brad – and will Brad decide he likes Clare or Morgan better?
