Farmer Wants A Wife is not known for its drama, so it should come as no surprise that majority of the contestants remain friends even after the series ends.

Most recently the FWAW fan favourites reunited for a special occasion in mid-September.

All the FWAW stars appeared to be having a fun day out!

Farmer Matt and his partner Olivia Benic escaped the farm life for a glamorous day at the Wagga Races alongside former co-stars Farmer Brenton and Farmer Brad.

“Cute catch ups at Wagga Races,” Olivia wrote on the cute picture shared to Instagram stories.

Recently single Brenton was seen with a big smile on his face.

Meanwhile it is unclear if the soon-to-be dad, Brad was joined by his pregnant partner Clare Hockings as she was not present in the group photo.

Lorelei and Shelby dished some FWAW dirt.

Lorelei and Shelby – who were looking for love in David and Brad respectively, but were unlucky – have bonded over their mutual experience and luckily enough for fans, they previously relived their time on the show.

The girls launched a podcast called Coastal Cowgirls where the girls dish the gossip on FWAW, and while FWAW isn’t known for drama and scandal, Shelby believed there may have been some under the sheets action during the 24-hour-date.

“Yeah, I do, I do think it happened,” Shelby said.

“We don’t have to name names,” Lorelei interjected.

“Whether people admitted it or not, I think it happened,” Shelby continued. “Don’t you? Surely you think it happened!”

“I don’t know,” Lorelei responded.

“Like we (David and I) slept in the same bed on the 24-hour date, but on my part I was like, ‘I don’t want to do anything in case I’m not the girl at the end’. Like, I’m just not the type of girl that can sleep around.”

Sophie and Rachel are still friends.

Although Farmer Wants A Wife Australia contestant Rachel Boothman did not win Farmer Brenton’s heart, a touching message shared to Instagram revealed the final girls are still close.

Rachel made in to the final two girls before her dreams of love were dashed, but she doesn’t perceive her time on the reality dating series as negative.

“My Farmer Wants a Wife journey was nothing short of amazing,” she wrote on Instagram.

“What a crazy emotional roller coaster of self growth, friendships and many lessons learnt, I am beyond grateful for this experience and stepping outside of my comfort zone and trying new and exciting things I’ve learnt to love.”

However, that doesn’t mean the heartbreak “especially on national TV” wasn’t tough for the young hopeful.

“But time heals all and I wouldn’t be the person i am today without the experience. I am so thankful for the some of the best friends and memories made that will last a lifetime,” she shared.

“Also, thank you to our little onset farmer crew for being there for me right till the very end and making me laugh always you guys are amazing!”.

In the FWAW finale, her farmer Brenton chose Sophie Holcombe as the one her envisioned spending his life with. Despite some believed tension that would arise after this choice, these girsl are proving opposite.

Sophie commented on Rachel’s heartwarming post, writing: “Couldn’t have asked for a better person to be by my side from start to end. I love you so much rach.”

Just after the FWAW reunion, Sophie confessed to 7Life that she had reached out to Rachel describing her as a “beautiful person.”

“I have spoken to Rachel very often and she is a beautiful person and we have such a good relationship,” she said.

“I think there was a mutual respect that we held for each other throughout the experience and when it’s finished, she’s been really supportive.

“I wish her all the best. She deserves a really great guy and she’s holding out really well.”

But Sophie and Brenton haven’t seen any of the cast since filming the reunion back in January, even after Brad and Clare’s shock pregnancy announcement.

“But there’s been lots of phone calls and checking in, especially with this one @clare_hockings, hopefully can plan a visit soon,” Sophie wrote on Instagram.

In a Instagram Q&A, Sophie revealed why she remains friends with the women who were competing for Brenton’s love.

“We were friends throughout filming and have an even stronger friendship now,” Sophie said. “They are both absolute sweethearts and we all care about each other too much not to be mates!”
