Farmer Wants A Wife 2023 contestant Morgan Gibbons has spoken out about her time on the show for the first time since Farmer Brad’s finale decision.
Morgan was one of the final two ladies on the Cootamundra crop and cattle farm and although Brad admitted during the finale that he could see Morgan in his life, it unfortunately was not in a romantic sense.
“I really want to thank you for putting your heart on the line, and I’m sure you know that that special person is out there and I wish you all the best in finding that person,” Brad told Morgan during the final decision.
Despite the country cupids not ruling in her favour, the 31-year-old high school teacher reflected on her overall time on the farm, writing on Instagram, “Well heck, what a unique experience filled with so much self growth and vulnerability that was!”
“I may not have found love in a partner but boy did I find it in the most supportive group of like minded women along the way. For that, I’m so lucky,” she continued, sharing a collection of happy snaps with many of the other farmer ladies.
Morgan’s fellow farmer hopefuls were quick to express their love and support for the runner-up, with contestant Shelby writing, “I love you so much! I’m so grateful this wild experience brought us together! You are one hell of a woman Morgs, I’m so proud of you.”
“Beyond blessed to now have you as one of my nearest and dearest xx,” wrote Corista, who was also on Brad’s farm.
“I freaking love you so much ,” added Farmer David’s Lorelei.
“[You’re] amazing, so much love for you,” replied Farmer Matt’s Chelsea.
“You really are the best! Love you morgs,” wrote Farmer Brenton’s Rachel.
Morgan also shared a sweet letter she received from her niece, with the handwritten card reading, “Dear Morgan, I am so sorry that Brad didn’t pick you. I know how much you liked him.”
“The best thing about you is that you are kind, caring, loving, [and] letting us have sleepovers,” her niece added, with the adorable tribute warming the hearts of Morgan’s fans.
