Farmer Wants A Wife Australia left the country in various states of shock as its explosive finale aired.
From break ups to make ups, to completely unexpected switcheroos, the show could have been mistaken for Married At First sight, there was that much, um, ~drama~.
That’s why fans have been jumping at the bit to see if any of the contestants left heartbroken (or just a little rejected, at least), have moved on with anyone else.
Enter Emma Hayes, a 33-year-old hairdresser who was in the running for Nick’s heart, only to be left distinctively Nick-less come the end of the show.
But alls well that ends well, because she’s just revealed she has another new beau on the scene – and brace yourselves for this one, folks – we’ve got one very loved up gal ahead.
Taking to her Instagram account on Tuesday, Emma shared a picture of her and her new partner looking at a sunset, alongside a passage from Kiersten White’s The Chaos of Stars: “I didn’t fall in love with you. I walked into love with you, with my eyes wide open, choosing to take every step along the way.”
The quote continued: “I do believe in fate and destiny, but I also believe we are only fated to do the things that we’d choose anyway.
“And I’d choose you; in a hundred lifetimes, in a hundred worlds, in any version of reality, I’d find you and I’d choose you,” she finished.
Emma left the show with her head held high back in August when Nick asked her to leave the show, instead choosing to see the positive side and owning the fact that she went on the show with good intentions.
“What a ride, what a beautiful ending @farmeraustralia,” she wrote on Instagram as the finale aired.
Farmer Nick himself also penned a sweet tribute to Emma, telling her: “You ALWAYS made me smile. You’re made entirely out of smiles. There will forever be a reserved sign which reads Emma on the warmest part of my heart.”
Along with Nick, the Brisbane local certainly made an impression on Australia during her time on the show.
She wasn’t afraid to voice what she wanted, and it was clear from the beginning that her heart was in it for all the right reasons.
“A man in an Akubra is hot, I also don’t mind a guy with a beard and he has to be handy with his hands, someone who works on the land is my type of guy,” she comically said previously.
Well, it looks like her new man is just the right fit.
