โ€œI watched the first season and I loved it, but I didnโ€™t realise how hard it actually was to build Lego to such a high standard,โ€ says 32-year-old Tash.

โ€œThe most challenging part for me was actually finding the parts to really dress up what we build,โ€ Harry, 57, echoes.

โ€œI think our talents are strictly renovationsโ€ฆ and even that is a stretch,โ€ Tash laughs.

โ€œNext time there is a challenge, I want it to be a singing challenge!โ€

Perth couple Luke and Jasmin admit they went into this challenge completely blind after never watching an episode of Lego Masters.

However, they tease what they make could be the creation to take home the coveted Lego Gnome.

โ€œI know itโ€™s Australiaโ€™s biggest TV show, but we havenโ€™t watched much of it,โ€ Jasmin admits.

โ€œBut we ensured what we made was the best thing we have ever made out of Lego, thatโ€™s for sure!โ€

And while chippy Luke, 35, believes his 36-year-old wife did well with what little knowledge they had, he says the couple wonโ€™t be gunning for an appearance on the show any time soon.

โ€œNo, we have no patience for that!โ€ he laughs.

โ€œIt was so great to meet him,โ€ 33-year-old George gushes.

โ€œIโ€™m a bit of a nerd โ€“ I just love the show.โ€

And while he may love watching the Lego Masters contestants do their thing on telly, when it came to building his own creation, the electrician found his hands werenโ€™t up to the task.

โ€œWhile I like collecting things, for some reason I have never done Lego โ€“ so it was a real challenge,โ€ he says.

โ€œYeah, I think itโ€™s best we stick to renovations,โ€ Sara, 27, adds.

Living on a remote farm 250km away from Adelaide, Daniel and Jade, both 35, arenโ€™t exactly used to seeing famous faces.

So when they were introduced to The Brickman and host Hamish Blake via Zoom, the pair were left in awe.

โ€œIt was so great to meet The Brickman โ€“ I was a bit starstruck! And speaking to Hamish over the phone โ€“ so cool!โ€ says Jade.

Yet while rubbing shoulders with a celebrity had them pinching themselves, the pair couldnโ€™t help but miss their children.

โ€œThe kids were in our heads the whole time,โ€ she adds.

โ€œIt was a pity we couldnโ€™t have done it with our kids, they would have loved it,โ€ adds Daniel.

โ€œWe love the show. We got to binge every episode during the COVID-19 break and itโ€™s so awesome,โ€ says Tam, 31.

Adds Jimmy, 33, โ€œIt was so cool but we were a bit nervous going into it. I thought we were going to be crap and were going to make a fool of ourselves.

โ€œYou have so much going through your mind, but it was so great meeting The Brickman, and we loved his advice.โ€
