Itโs the crossover episode that dreams are made of when Lego Masters gatecrashes The Block site this week.
And here, this yearโs Blockheads speak exclusively to Womanโs Day about the moment host Hamish Blake and judge Ryan โThe Brickmanโ McNaught challenged them to one of their most nail biting builds yet!

Itโs the crossover episode that dreams are made of!
(Channel Nine)Harry & Tash

While theyโre nailing it in the actual build, father-daughter duo Harry and Tash found building a home out of Lego to be โa real struggleโ.
(Channel Nine)While theyโre nailing it in the actual build, father-daughter duo Harry and Tash found building a home out of Lego to be โa real struggleโ.
โI watched the first season and I loved it, but I didnโt realise how hard it actually was to build Lego to such a high standard,โ says 32-year-old Tash.
โThe most challenging part for me was actually finding the parts to really dress up what we build,โ Harry, 57, echoes.
โI think our talents are strictly renovationsโฆ and even that is a stretch,โ Tash laughs.
โNext time there is a challenge, I want it to be a singing challenge!โ
Luke & Jasmin

Perth couple Luke and Jasmin admit they went into this challenge completely blind after never watching an episode of Lego Masters.
(Channel Nine)Perth couple Luke and Jasmin admit they went into this challenge completely blind after never watching an episode of Lego Masters.
However, they tease what they make could be the creation to take home the coveted Lego Gnome.
โI know itโs Australiaโs biggest TV show, but we havenโt watched much of it,โ Jasmin admits.
โBut we ensured what we made was the best thing we have ever made out of Lego, thatโs for sure!โ
And while chippy Luke, 35, believes his 36-year-old wife did well with what little knowledge they had, he says the couple wonโt be gunning for an appearance on the show any time soon.
โNo, we have no patience for that!โ he laughs.
Sarah & George

Fun-loving couple Sarah and George were beside themselves when they saw the famous Brickman in person.

โIt was so great to meet him,โ 33-year-old George gushes.
โIโm a bit of a nerd โ I just love the show.โ
And while he may love watching the Lego Masters contestants do their thing on telly, when it came to building his own creation, the electrician found his hands werenโt up to the task.
โWhile I like collecting things, for some reason I have never done Lego โ so it was a real challenge,โ he says.
โYeah, I think itโs best we stick to renovations,โ Sara, 27, adds.
Daniel & Jade

Living on a remote farm 250km away from Adelaide, Daniel and Jade, both 35, arenโt exactly used to seeing famous faces.

So when they were introduced to The Brickman and host Hamish Blake via Zoom, the pair were left in awe.
โIt was so great to meet The Brickman โ I was a bit starstruck! And speaking to Hamish over the phone โ so cool!โ says Jade.
Yet while rubbing shoulders with a celebrity had them pinching themselves, the pair couldnโt help but miss their children.
โThe kids were in our heads the whole time,โ she adds.
โIt was a pity we couldnโt have done it with our kids, they would have loved it,โ adds Daniel.
Jimmy & Tam

While other couples joke at the novelty of the experience, Brisbaneโs Jimmy and Tam are diehard fans of Lego Masters, and reveal they were out to impress The Brickman from the get-go.

โWe love the show. We got to binge every episode during the COVID-19 break and itโs so awesome,โ says Tam, 31.
Adds Jimmy, 33, โIt was so cool but we were a bit nervous going into it. I thought we were going to be crap and were going to make a fool of ourselves.
โYou have so much going through your mind, but it was so great meeting The Brickman, and we loved his advice.โ
