As the competition heats up on the country’s biggest singing competition, the four coaches on The Voice are saying and doing all they can to secure their strongest teams.
On top of the show’s mounting pressure, Woman’s Day hears coach Delta Goodrem, 35, is finding it tough being reunited with her two former flames Darren McMullen and Guy Sebastian, both 38.
Scottish-Australian Darren has made a triumphant return to host the show, alongside Renee Bargh, 33, but our on-set spy says his big comeback has left Delta blushing – and her boyfriend Matthew Copley squirming.
“His return has definitely sparked a few conversations between them,” dishes a source.
“In walks a former love interest…a handsome one at that, any boyfriend would be concerned,” the source insists.
Darren and Delta have reunited on The Voice this season.

While Delta and Darren were tight-lipped about their fling, the couple reportedly dated in 2012 after meeting on the show’s launch season.
The duo – who Darren says are “still very close” and “talk all the time” were snapped in Sydney and LA together, with Delta confessing they were spending increasing amounts of time together.
In June 2012, fans spotted the couple making out at Lady Gaga concert, prompting the Born To Try singer to speak out.
“I didn’t realise I had to announce anything officially when I spend time with somebody, but I really enjoy [Darren’s] company. He’s a close friend of mine.”
Adding to Matt’s paranoia, Darren has shared cute videos of Delta giggling as the friends play basketball backstage at show rehearsals.
“Seeing your girlfriend having a great time with her ex would be enough to make anyone feel weirded out,” says our source, adding Matt is doing everything he can to ensure single Darren doesn’t spend too much alone time with his girlfriend.
Meanwhile, the handsome Brit isn’t Matt’s only worry!

In 2015, Guy shocked fans when he told The Kyle And Jackie O Show about the time he and Delta dated in the early 2000s.
“A long time ago, I’d just won Idol… and I dated my pass, believe it or not,” he said on air.
“You know how you talk about your pass? Hers [Jules’] was Heath Ledger. Mine was Delta. And I dated her, for a few months. No one knew about it.”
“He’s so funny. We love talking about it because it’s so funny,” Delta said last year of their short-lived romance, adding, “We watched Harry Potter. One of our dates was that!”
It’s no wonder he’s nervous!

The Emmy-winning TV presenter had her first brush with fame in 2006 at age 19 in pop group Girlband.
They released two top 50 singles, Party Girl and Electric, before calling it quits a year later.
After her stint in the group, Renee was a backup singer for fellow coach and bestie Delta!
