With Seven’s Dancing With The Stars just weeks away from hitting our screens, Woman’s Day can exclusively reveal the next star set to return to the dancefloor is Jamie Durie.
The veteran host, 50, will burn up the ballroom with Melbourne-based dancer and Burn The Floor star Siobhan Power, 14 years after originally storming the show in 2007.
The Manpower hunk came seventh in the show’s sixth season, with Kate Ceberano taking the crown, but this time, a rejuvenated – and recently engaged – Jamie won’t let the coveted disco ball trophy slip from his hands that easily.
“I’m thrilled to be returning to DWTS for this year’s All Stars season,” he tells Woman’s Day.
“It’s been almost 14 years since I was last on the show, so I’m looking forward to dusting off my dancing shoes.
“From the cast I’ve seen coming back again so far, I’m sure it’s going to be a tough competition,” he adds.
Jamie is the latest name to be revealed in a star-studded line-up including Fifi Box, Ada Nicodemou, Bec Hewitt, Tom Williams and Schapelle Corby, who will be appearing as a wild card.
Jamie’s TV comeback comes days after he announced his engagement to girlfriend Ameka Jane. Jamie began dating the model and aspiring singer, 33, after meeting her in LA in 2019.
Will Kyly Clarke join Jamie for a House Rules reunion?
While Jamie readies himself for a second twirl around the dancefloor, he may have a familiar face alongside him – Woman’s Day hears that his House Rules co-star Kyly Clarke could also be set to appear in DWTS!
The energetic mum-of-one, 39, is hotly tipped to be returning after sensationally quitting the show in 2014, when she incurred a painful hamstring injury during a dance.
