Get your dancing slippers out (are they a thing? They should definitely be a thing) – Dancing with the Stars is back, but with a twist.
Yep, you’d better brace yourself for and tango and a little foxtrot 2.0 as some of your favourite former Aussie contestants from the show return for an All Star edition.
Oh, and did we mention how good the cast list looks already?
As the Channel Seven reboot was announced, Dancing fans went into overdrive guessing which celebs would be returning to the D-floor.
We’ve already got our first handful of names, and you can bet they’re every bit as nostalgic as you’d hope.

Jamie Durie will burn up the ballroom with Melbourne-based dancer and Burn The Floor star Siobhan Power, 14 years after originally storming the show in 2007.
The veteran host came seventh in the show’s sixth season, with Kate Ceberano taking the crown, but this time, a rejuvenated – and recently engaged – Jamie won’t let the coveted disco ball trophy slip from his hands that easily.

He first showed us his moves on the dancefloor back in 2009, when he placed seventh, and now Lincoln Lewis is set to shimmy his way back into the spotlight on the latest season of Dancing with the Stars.
Taking to Instagram after the network confirmed the news, the 33-year-old quipped about his appearance on the show, writing: “Two left feet here we goooo!”

Technically a trained dancer, it came as no surprise in 2004 when a then-Bec Cartwright and her dance partner Michael Mizner took out the top spot beating One Nation politician Pauline Hanson to take home the Mirrorball trophy. Can she do it again?

From SAS Australia to the ballroom, this marks convicted drug smuggler Schapelle Corby’s second stint on Aussie reality television after she was announced as a wildcard participant in the upcoming All Stars series of DWTS. The 43-year-old has been paired with dance partner Shae Mountain and admits she’s been struggling with one challenge in particular.
“I’m not a big hugger and I didn’t realise how much body contact I would have to do. It is something I’m not used to and through my time in rehearsals this is something my dance partner and I are working on,” she explained to the Daily Telegraph.

This Home and Away stalwart might be a regular on our screens every weeknight, but she’s also giving us an extra dose as she tackles the new season of Dancing with the Stars. Her fellow contestants should look sharp, too – Ada took out the coveted title (and swept up the coveted disco ball trophy) in 2005 with her partner Aric. He’s returning to dance with her again, FYI!

This radio and television star is also no stranger to the dance floor. After coming second in the 2007 series, Fifi will put her best foot forwards (quite literally) as she battles it out on the same D-floor more than a decade later.

Another All-Star, another winner. Yep, TV presenter Tom Williams was the second person to come out as Champion of the entire series in Australia – he quickly garnered a solid following in season two, and we’ve no reason to believe he won’t do exactly the same this time around.
