In episode two she wrote him a letter and even hinted she was in love.

Then in episode three she found herself spiralling out of control with jealousy as he spoke to the other girls in the mansion.

“She’s a hot mess!” seethed Romy after spotting her looking nauseous at the cocktail party.

In episode five, Nick had to let her down gently and tell her he wasn’t on ‘the same level’ as she was.

But instead of getting mad, Cass took a deep breath and swallowed her fate with pride.

Suffice it to say, Nick appeared to warm to her and in episode six even confessed his “feelings were evolving for Cass.”

“You’re a very special woman,” he told her in their one-on-one time together.

When she dated him prior to the show, Cass says she got to know “the real” Bachelor.

“He’s warm, kind-hearted and very genuine – and I love that about him,” Cass said adding that the timing wasn’t right for their relationship.

“I needed him to know where I’m at and I only did that because I felt like he’d given me the green light to go ahead,” she reveals. “I wouldn’t have done it if I didn’t feel like he’d be comfortable.”

We’ll see if the risky move pays off – but Cass insists she has no regrets.

“I just want Nick to be happy,” she says. “I realise you can’t force things. If we’re meant to be together, we will be. And if not, I’ll be fine too.”
