New housemate Sam has always been a fan of Big Brother.
As a kid, she loved watching the earlier seasons featuring Reggie and Trevor, but when she went travelling in her 20s, the show and its contestants fell off her radar. Well, everyone except for heart-throb model Drew.
When the 31-year-old intimacy coach entered the house and started chatting to 2013 winner Tim, who was a housemate of Drew’s that year, she couldn’t help but confess she was a big fan.
“He’s so hot – I had a crush on him. It’s weird, because I remember him, but not you.”

Although she felt a bit awkward at first, thankfully, the attraction was mutual and romance blossomed.
“Drew and I had an instant connection,” Sam admits. “You’re spending 24 hours a day, seven days a week, in the same space – you have no choice but to get to know them. It was a beautiful connection that grew…but you’ll have to wait to see what happens.”

Although Tully has been confirmed as a returning housemate, we don’t know when we’ll see her appear. However, Sam says the pair clicked the instant they met.
“We had an interesting connection,” she says. “I really liked her.”
While several of the new season’s housemates found the thought of sharing the house with former contestants and winners daunting, Sam viewed it as an exciting opportunity “I didn’t feel intimidated at all by the Big Brother royalty,” she shares.
“I felt I had so much to learn about the experience from them.”

Now, as things heat up between Sam and Drew, we can’t wait for Tully to arrive to stir thing up. Will history repeat or is a spicy love triangle brewing?
