Big Brother‘s new season finally kicked it up a gear last night with one of the first big strategic game-plays unfolding between Daniel and Chris.

Despite Daniel basically bungling it by telling literally everyone in the house that he was going to blindside the magician, he managed to pull it off and send him packing.

While Chris has made his feelings about Daniel clear, revealing he was “unpleasant” to live with, it’s not the real-estate agent who’s copping Chris’ wrath this morning.

In last night’s episode, fans would have seen Ari make quite the sassy comment about Chris as he cast his vote to evict him.

“I would like to evict this person because they’re a magician and, like, get a real job,” Ari told Big Brother from the diary room.

Ouch.

Naturally, Chris, who is one half of international act, The Naked Magicians, took the opportunity this morning to respond to Ari’s comment with a cheeky Instagram post.

Sharing a photo of a crowd at his show alongside a poster for the performance (next to the likes of renowned musicals Hamilton and Aladdin) Chris captioned the post: “The only reply necessary.”

Speaking exclusively to Now To Love following his eviction Chris spoke about the incredible career he’s had as a magician.

“The show my friend and I wrote together is the only Australian magic show in history, uh, to do a season on West End in London, we also had a residency at MGM Grand in Vegas with [David] Copperfield and Lady Gaga.”

The 37-year-old went on to reveal that while his experience performing allowed him to feel comfortable being watched by Big Brother‘s 65 cameras, other housemates weren’t quite the same.

“For sure people were playing it up for the cameras,” Chris said.

“For some people in there and I’m not discounting them at all, but this is the biggest thing they’ll ever do in their lives, a once in a lifetime opportunity. It even was for me in that aspect.

“We all want to go in there and present as much of ourselves as possible.”
