A brand new season of Big Brother kicks off this week, so Australia is about to meet a whole new cast of housemates set to star on our screens.
The 20 contestants will be vying for a chance to win $250,000 in prize money – that’s if they can keep up with the show’s tough new rules!
But some of the contestants have been hiding a few secrets in their pasts.
Keep on scrolling to see what they’ve been keeping from us!
Chad Hurst: X-RATED MODEL!
While he’s dubbed the Big Brother‘s first “international model”, who has starred in campaigns across the globe, executives failed to highlight all of Chad’s reel.
The Sydney-based tradie’s portfolio extends to a series of explicit full-frontal shoots, with a lot of them readily available on the internet.
Sophie Budack: MISS SUPERCARS!
Billed as a gymnast, Sophie has many talents under her belt.
The Darwin stunner won Miss Supercars on the Gold Coast in 2017, before being named Miss World Australia Northern Territory a year later.
But sources tell Woman’s Day she almost wasn’t cast.
“She was the last one to be picked – they gave her about a week’s notice!”
Garth Saville: SECRET DRAG QUEEN!
Sydneysider Garth happily calls himself the “gay dad”, and he has no qualms about showing off his alter ego – his fabulous drag queen persona, Dawn Service – on Instagram!
Mat Garrick: SECRET TV STAR
The financial analyst from Broken Hill, NSW, loves TV so much that he’s already appeared on ABC’s Think Tank.
He previously appeared as a regular panellist on the hit show from 2018 to 2019.
Daniel Gorringe: HONEY BADGER 2.0?!
With Daniel already boasting a profile in the sports world, a source tells Woman’s Day the Melbournite is hoping to become the next Honey Badger.
“He has the same Aussie Larrikin sense of humour and he’s hoping to become the next Nick Cummins,” says the source.
“He wants to go on every show and believes he will become an Aussie icon.”
Zoe George: WEIGHT-LOSS GURU
The self-confessed “subtle mummy blogger” has lost a staggering amount of weight in the past.
The Melbourne-based writer revealed on her website she got down to 73kg with the help of an exercise physiologist and Hypoxi, a low-impact exercise method, as well as turning to reformer Pilates.
“There was no secret recipe, just BE HAPPY. Laugh every day and throw away the scales,” she wrote.
Shane Vincent: ‘JACKASS’ WANNABE!
His marriage celebrant career gives the impression of a zen lifestyle, but his affiliation with Gold Coast surfing collective The Mad Hueys just about banishes that.
Dubbed Australia’s version of Jackass, their stunts, including swimming among sharks with very little protection, have caused quite a stir.
Kieran Davidson: YOUTUBE HIT
Kieran, from Adelaide, went viral last year after hilarious videos of him learning to drive with his mother and father were sent around the globe.
The hilarious vlogger also has a penchant for chasing celebrities and he regularly posts his spots, such as actress Nicole Kidman, on Instagram.
