The couple said their goodbyes in an emotional final episode, before Angie declared her love for winner Carlin Sterritt.

In a final display of his affection for Angie, Timm spent their final moments comforting her, despite his own heartbreak.

โ€œIโ€™m gutted, I just donโ€™t want to see you cry,โ€ he confessed to Angie, when she asked why he wasnโ€™t crying.

โ€œBe happy. We have had the bestโ€ฆdo not cry over it, we have had the best time together. Itโ€™s just the situation weโ€™re in and Iโ€™m just so happy that Iโ€™ve met you and Iโ€™ve cherished every moment with you.โ€

Moments later, Timm broke down when he was alone with producers.

Now, months after filming has wrapped, Timm admits it was one of the hardest things heโ€™s ever done.

โ€œIt was good, it was just really hard to be so vulnerable and open,โ€ he tells 10 Daily.

He tells the publication he thought he would be the one to end up with Angie.

โ€œI deadset thought 100 percent that I was going to win, that I was going to be ending up with her,โ€ he admits.

โ€œI was shocked, but then I wasnโ€™t at the same time. It was such a mixed bag of emotions.โ€

The star admits he struggled since leaving the show, especially since he hasnโ€™t seen Angie since they filmed the finale.

Fortunately for fans though, who are calling for him to be The Bachelor in 2020, Timm reveals he hasnโ€™t ruled out returning to reality TV.

Iโ€™d definitely be open to doing something like [โ€˜The Bacheloretteโ€™] again,โ€ he said, โ€œalthough it didnโ€™t work out the way I wanted it to, it was definitely one of the best times Iโ€™ve ever had in my life. A hundred per cent open to doing something like it again.โ€
