Well folks there we have it. The sad news we’ve been anticipating thanks to endless speculation, rumours and gossip has finally been confirmed: The Bachelorette Australia‘s Elly Miles and Frazer Neate have split.

In an emotional video posted to her Instagram Elly fought tears as she broke the news to fans.

“I just wanted to come on here and say a couple of things. I just wanted you to hear it from me. Frazer and I are no longer together,” she said.

“We broke up over the weekend. I think we just grew apart after the show. It was really really hard having the distance and the secrecy and I guess everything that comes along with having a new relationship in the media.”

Elly, who originally took part in Matt Agnew’s season of The Bachelor, added: “It’s a bit of a quick turnaround to go from thinking you’ve found the person you want to be with forever to being single again.

“I wasn’t happy for a little while there and I know from my end, I gave it absolutely everything I had.”

Elly also felt the need to touch on the “rumours” and “allegations” of Frazer cheating which have been circulating in recent weeks.

“Whether it’s true or not I don’t know, that’s not the reason we broke up,” she clarified before adding: “He says its not true but f—k who knows, honestly.”

The couple appeared to be happy for a short while.

After taking Joe Woodbury and Frazer all the way to the finale it was the 28-year-old concreter who stole Elly’s heart.

In a recent Instagram Q&A with sister Becky, Elly revealed she was planning on moving to Queensland to be with Frazer.

“We are still together and I am going to move to Queensland in January, that’s the plan.”

She shared a similar plan when speaking with Who after the finale, clearly smitten at the time.

“I’m lucky with my job. I can work wherever being a nurse and I’ve been in Newie for many years,” she said. “I gave Sydney a bit of a shot and I don’t like that either. So I’m ready for a change and Frazer’s worth it.”
