Now that Matt and Chelsie have found their happily ever after on The Bachelor, all focus is now on Angie Kent and her quest to find love on The Bachelorette.

We’ve seen a few promos drop but now our good friends at Channel Ten have finally revealed when the premiere episode airs, and it’s not long to go!

In an official statement from Network Ten, it’s been revealed that The Bachelorette will air its first episode on Wednesday October 9 at 7.30pm.

“Angie Kent, the fairest of the land, will put her motley crew of romantic suitors through the ultimate love test when her love story – AKA The Bachelorette Australia – premieres on Wednesday, 9 October at 7.30pm,” the statement read.

We’re steeling ourselves for a lot of laughs, mayhem and a Bachelorette first with Angie’s brother Brad entering the mansion as an undercover suitor!

In a previous chat with TV WEEK, Angie explained that having her brother there at that first cocktail party “was the best feeling in the world”.

“To have him there on one of the most nerve-wracking nights of my entire life just put me at ease,” she added.

“He’s such a good judge of character and the nicest dude. I knew he wouldn’t go in there and just be like, ‘That guy is a d**khead.’ He’d focus on the positives, and that’s what I wanted.”

Whether she’s watching TV on Gogglebox with her best mate Yvie Jones or eating bugs on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, the nation seems to have already fallen in love with Angie.

Speaking about her new starring role on The Bachelorette the Sunshine Coast sweetheart said: “I’ve always been the girl who loves to make everyone laugh, but now I reckon it’s time to have someone to laugh with me, rather than at me.

“I’m at a place now where I have loads of self-love, but I’m also open to all of life’s amazing possibilities. So, if 20 or so fellas want to join me, have a laugh and potentially be my perfect partner in life and love – I say – let’s give it a red hot go!”
