Their love story has been anything but straightforward, yet as they stare into each other’s eyes at Woman’s Day‘s exclusive photoshoot, there’s no denying Bachelor In Paradise stars Keira Maguire and Jarrod Woodgate are completely and utterly in love.
“I grew up watching Disney movies and I was so inspired by love. I’d ask people, ‘How do you know he’s The One?’ And they’d just tell me, ‘When you know, you know.'”
“And that’s how I feel with Jarrod,” says Keira at Woman’s Day‘s exclusive photoshoot.
Since filming of Bachelor In Paradise wrapped in Fiji at the end of last year, the pair’s relationship has gone from strength to strength, meeting each other’s families and even talking marriage and babies!

Sealed with a kiss!
And the bride wore gumboots! The couple get in some practice ahead of their real-life wedding.
“Everybody loves her,” smiles Jarrod, “They’ll just call her for a catch-up. My sister adores Keira.”
Keira, 31, feels the same about them.
“It’s weird how well I get on with his family. His mum is so cute, she holds my hand. There’s a lot of love in his family – they’ve been so welcoming, it’s actually quite beautiful,” she says.
Cheers to the future.
Even the chooks love Jarrod’s chick.
She’s a natural on the family property…
Keira’s family have also given Jarrod, 31, the nod of approval, especially her 94-year-old nan, who’s his number-one fan.
“Her opinion counts more than anything, and she told me she really likes him and not to let him go,” reveals Keira.
“She’s never said that about any of my boyfriends, so it was massive.”
Jarrod can’t wait to carry Keira across the threshold.

Loving country life
The couple have already taken a huge step in their relationship, with Keira upping sticks to move from Sydney to Victoria.
They now split their time between Jarrod’s family-run Toms Cap Vineyard Retreat in Central Gippsland and their home in Brighton.
Keira has even become quite the farmhand.
“Everybody loves her,” Jarrod says.
“I already know what sort of proposal will blow her away,” he adds.
It’s so nice to see them this happy.
“I help out where I can, whether it’s in the kitchen, feeding the goats and chickens in the morning, or getting the eggs,” she explains.
“She’s been a good hand,” laughs Jarrod.
“She has her gumboots, the whole thing! She wants me to teach her how to use the mowers, but for now I’ve just given her a rake!”
They had each other in fits of giggles throughout our shoot.
We can’t wait to see their real-life wedding come to life very soon.
Family plans
As for whether the vineyard will be their real-life wedding location, Keira and Jarrod would love their nuptials to take place at Toms Cap, or somewhere equally as scenic like Byron Bay, and for it to be an intimate affair.
“The vineyard would be great but then again, my family would want to make sure everything is in order!” says Jarrod.

The pair are keen to start a family once they tie the knot – having a little girl would be a dream come true for both of them.
“Keira just wants to be a princess on the day, so that’s what she’ll get,” Jarrod promises.
The future looks bright for this BIP power couple.
“He’d be an amazing dad, he’ll be a cuddly bear,” says Keira. “I was told by a psychic I’d have a girl, but if we do, I think Jarrod will love her more than me!”
Adds Jarrod, “She will be a princess. I see my mates with their daughters and that’s what I want. I’d be such a softie.”
“And Keira would bring up the kids so well. She’s such a good role model. There are too many people who tiptoe around issues but she says it how it is. She’d show them not to be afraid of who they are, and be the person they want to be.”
