Nichole Wood was sent packing from the mansion in last night’s episode of The Bachelor Australia, alongside the series’ best commentator Mary Viturino.
Though she never scored a single date, she did spend enough one-on-one time with Matt Agnew to know she had some feelings for him.
“He’s honestly a great guy,” she tells TV WEEK. “I was so grateful for the experience in itself, even though I didn’t get much time with Matt. It sucks not getting a single date, that was probably the only disappointment.”
Despite it not working out with the pair, Nichole says there are no hard feelings.
“I think he’s done really well. He’s done the best he can in a crazy situation,” the 25-year-old says, adding she hopes he ends up with Elly Miles or Chelsie McLeod.
Though she didn’t find love on The Bachelor, Nichole is having no trouble in the romance department. She was recently photographed kissing Married At First Sight star Billy Vincent, with rumours swirling that the pair are in a relationship.
“We’re not in a relationship yet!” Nichole confirms to TV WEEK, revealing, “that was actually our first date.”
The pair, who both reside in Queensland, were introduced (on Instagram) by mutual friend Shelby Bilby from Love Island.
“He went to an event with my best friend Shelby, and he followed me on Instagram and liked a couple of my photos,” Nichole says.
Nichole reveals she was first to message, after seeing they had both been at the same bar on Billy’s Instagram Story.
“That sort of sparked up the conversation! Then we just kept talking, he was trying to get me to go to the Ekka with him and I didn’t end up having time because I was working, and we only finally got our schedules matched up and got our first date in last week… and it went really well as you could see.”
So what’s next for the reality TV duo?
“We’re seeing where it goes and we’re both really cruisy about it, we enjoy each other’s company,” she says.
“Honestly, I was so ready for [her time on the show] to be over and I’m just happy that I can move on to the next chapter of my life now.
The Bachelor Australia airs Wednesday and Thursday, 7:30pm on 10.
