Australia’s Got Talent is making a big return to our screens this year and it’s going to be a star-studded one at that.

Channel Seven have revealed Kate Ritchie, Neil Patrick Harris, Alesha Dixon and Shane Jacobson will be taking the helm to judge who Australia’s next big star will be.

Kenny actor Shane is the only returning judge from previous seasons, with Kate, Neil and Alesha joining the judging panel for the first time.

Best known for his role as Barney in How I Met Your Mother, we’re particularly excited for Emmy and Tony Award winner, Neil Patrick Harris to join the show. And it appears the feeling is mutual.

“To say I’m a fan of the AGT franchise is an understatement – I’ve been watching since the very first season!” he said.

“Australia has phenomenal talent across so many disciplines, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to join AGT in 2021 to see firsthand what the country’s awesome contestants have to offer.”

NPH joining the show is legen-wait for it-dary.

Whether NPH will be jetting down under for filming – going by the number of Hollywood stars here we wouldn’t be surprised – or will be streamed in via video, is yet to be confirmed.

We certainly won’t be glossing over the appointment of dual TV WEEK Gold Logie Award winner and Home And Away legend, Kate Ritchie, either.

This will be the radio and TV stars most notable return to the screen since 2013.

The H&A fave is FINALLY back on our screens.

“People have spent more time at home than usual this past year. Some developed brand new skills and others fine-tuned their already spectacular talents!” she said of joining the show.

“I am not only flattered to be sharing the AGT panel with this season’s line-up but super excited to see the incredible talent Australia has to offer… from what I believe to be the best seat in the house!”

Meanwhile Alesha, like her co-host Shane, is no stranger to the Got Talent stage, having notched up an incredible nine years as a judge on Britain’s Got Talent.
