It’s been dubbed the greatest game on earth – so if you think you have what it takes to star on the next season of Australian Survivor, you’re in luck!
Network Ten has announced that they’re looking for the country’s next Sole Survivor and trust us, this gig isn’t for the feint at heart.
Producers are on the hunt for men and women from all locations and backgrounds, who are 18 or over by January 1, 2020 – but if you’re an expat from overseas, you need not apply – you must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Sounds easy enough but then the criteria gets a little bit tougher.
As well as being able to swim, candidates have to be available for one (or possibly two) days in February 2020 for a potential audition and available for around 10-12 weeks for the shoot (most likely to be between April and June 2020).

“You need to be physically and mentally strong enough to survive in some of the toughest conditions ever experienced,” the description adds.
“You must be able to engage with others, be confident and be comfortable living in close quarters with strangers.”
Once you’ve sent through your application form, the casting team will contact you to discuss the next steps.

In 2020, Survivor fans will be gifted with not one but TWO seasons of the hit reality show, with the All Stars season set to air in early February.
Network 10’s Chief Content Officer Beverley McGarvey confirmed that “big players” from season one would be coming back, along with a few fan-favourites from season two, and two of the biggest “champions” from season three and season four.
These include this year’s Golden God David Genat and last year’s Mat Rogers, so you can bet we’re excited!

If Survivor doesn’t sound like your cup of tea, there’s another show out there that will boost your reality TV career. And you won’t even have to leave the couch!
On Sunday, Aussie production company Endemol Shine released a casting call for Gogglebox Australia asking for “witty and warm people who who love everything about TV and want to share their views with Australia” to apply.
To be honest, we reckon we’d be better at watching Survivor rather than living it!
