Australian Survivor is back! And for the first time ever in the Aussie series, the Network Ten reality show is bringing back its best, toughest and most memorable players for another shot at glory.

From season four villain David Genat, who fell victim to the ultimate blindside, to lovable larrikin and 2017’s Sole Survivor Jericho Malabonga, to Brooke Jowett, who is out for revenge on former best mate Felicity ‘Flick’ Eggington, who turned on her in season one – each returning contestant has a point to prove.

And while the players may want to avoid Tribal Council as much as possible, the fact is, host Jonathan LaPaglia will be snuffing out a torch every single episode.

So who has scraped through and who has gotten the boot from the island already?

Brooke

Brooke Jowett – episode 23

One of Australian Survivor‘s greatest competitors, Brooke, was eliminated in an emotional tribal council.

After failing to secure individual immunity, the challenge beast was on the chopping block with David, Sharn and Mo’s long-standing alliance proving too strong to break.

Tarzan

Tarzan Herlaar – episode 22

The lovable lime farmer made it through All-Stars without ever receiving a single vote at a tribal council. Sadly when his name was finally read out it would spell his demise, being sent home painstakingly short of the final three he hoped to reach.

AK

Aaron ”AK” Knight – episode 21

In one of the most nail biting tribal councils this season, the contestants were given an option of going to a vote or nominating two members to go to fire.

Sure he was going home if it came to a vote, AK opted for fire. The rest of the tribe agreed to nominate Moana, after a little push from Brooke.

As Moana and AK fought for their lives to build their fires, it came right down to the rope, with Moana winning the challenge.

Shonee

Shonee Fairfax – episode 20

Fan favourite Shonee failed to convert Sharn in her attempt to eliminate the Golden God, David. Sitting on the bottom of a dwindling alliance with AK and Brooke, the personal assistant and her infamous red dress were eliminated from the tribe.

Jacqui

Jacqui Patterson – episode 19

Immediately after eliminating her rival, Zach, the 52-year-old’s decision to turn on her alliance came back to bite her.

Her new alliance with Shonee, Brooke and AK wasn’t enough to keep her in the game when a split vote between herself and Moana ended in a re-vote and her fire being extinguished.

Zach

Zach Kozyrski – Episode 18

Relying on his alliance with David, Tarzan, Moana and Jacqui to bring him back from exile beach, things didn’t go to plan for Zach.

Jacqui turned on the alliance, wanting to eliminate Zach from the tribe in a surprising blindside.

Lee

Lee Carseldine – Episode 16

The unpredictable departure of favourite, Lee, left fans and fellow tribe members completely heartbroken.

Receiving an urgent call from home, Lee was given devastating news: his mum had suffered a life-threatening stroke and her condition was dire.

It was a heart-wrenching goodbye for all tribe members as the All-Star opted to leave to be by his mother’s side.

Harry Hills

Harry Hills – episode 15

Dirty Harry’s reign sadly came to an end after Mo and David schemed together to cut him loose.

Locky Gilbert

Locky Gilbert – episode 14

It was merge time and traditionally the biggest physical threats become the obvious first targets. Sadly for Locky, he didn’t buck this trend and was voted out and became the first person on the All Stars jury.

Nick Iadanza

Nick Iadanza – episode 13

Nick almost made it through to merge by the skin of his teeth when Harry considered using his advantage to save him. But, Harry pulled out at the last minute, leaving Nick completely defenceless when his entire tribe voted for him and he was forced off the island.

Felicity Egginton

Felicity ‘Flick’ Egginton – episode 12

After blindsiding former bestie Brooke Jowett last time around, that move came back to bite Felicity ‘Flick’ Egginton. Brooke’s revenge was served ice cold and Flick was voted out.

Phoebe Timmins

Phoebe Timmins – episode 11

Fooled by the one she trusted most, David, Phoebe failed to find an idol and was ousted in a blindside that came down to the wire in an initial tie vote with Moana. Nick’s secret extra vote wasn’t enough to keep Phoebe in the game and she was sent packing.

Mat Rogers

Mat Rogers – episode ten

The Godfather is gone! Failing to break the strong alliance in Vakama and having played his idol at the previous tribal council, Mat was voted out in what he described as “boring game play.”

John Eastoe

John Eastoe – episode nine

The mullet man has gone! After being on the chopping block for several episodes, John was voted out after Mat played his idol.

Lydia Lassila

Lydia Lassila – episode eight

The twists keep coming on Australian Survivor and in a Tribal Council first, both tribes attended with Phoebe and Lydia voted out. The women had a chance to battle their way back into the game in a fire challenge but it was Phoebe who came out on top, sending Lydia home.

Abbey Holmes

Abbey Holmes – episode seven

She made it to the final five last season, but on All Stars, Abbey was given the flick early on despite pushing for a physically strong tribe.

Zach and Shonee

Zach and Shonee – episode six

It wouldn’t be Australian Survivor if there weren’t a few twists involved! In episode six, Shonee and Zach received the most votes respectively but instead of being sent home, they were banished to Exile Beach. It remains to be seen which of the pair can battle their way back to play another day.

Henry Nicholson

Henry Nicholson – episode five

The Zen Hen brought some big moves – including creating another fake idol that he “found” at Tribal Council in a last-ditch effort to get his tribemates not to vote for him. Unfortunately for him, rival Shonee had discovered a real idol and played it to save herself – in effect, sending Henry home.

Michelle Dougan

Michelle Dougan – episode four

In season two, Michelle managed to make her way to the final four. But her fate was reversed in All Stars, and she was one of the first four voted out.

Jericho – episode two

The loveable larrikin made friends around camp, but the curse of former winners struck again, meaning Jericho was the second All Star to be given the boot.

Shane Gould – episode one

After winning Australian Survivor back in season three, Shane had a target on her back and was the first All Star eliminated.
