Rumours have long been swirling that one couple in paradise will leave the tropical island engaged.
And judging by the way Ali Oetjen and Grant Kemp’s romance is heating up, it looks like it could be them!
Ali, who appeared on Tim Robards’ season of The Bachelor Australia in 2013, tells TV WEEK she can’t wait to get married and start a family.
“My last relationship just didn’t work out,” the real estate agent and fitness guru reveals, referring to her recent break-up with fiancé David Waldeck.
“But I would love to get married.”
Ali, 31, was instantly attracted to American firefighter Grant when he arrived in paradise as an intruder. Unsurprisingly, it wasn’t long before the genetically blessed duo got together.
“This feels so right,” viewers heard Ali tell Grant as the pair shared their first kiss.
Since then, they’ve been inseparable. So are the lovebirds ready to take their relationship to the next level?
“I’m happy,” Grant teases about a possible proposal.
It wouldn’t be the first time Grant, 29, has popped the question on TV.
When he was on the US version of Bachelor In Paradise in 2016, he became engaged to fellow participant Lace Morris. The couple split just a few months later.
“It’s easy to get caught up in it all, but things aren’t the way they were 30 years ago where people stay together when they’re unhappy,” Grant says of the pair’s break-up, adding that he’s looking for his forever partner.
When it comes to having children, Ali doesn’t want to wait much longer.
“I want two babies,” she says with a smile.
Grant adds: “To me, kids are a way bigger deal than marriage. So if I have a great marriage, I’ll want kids.”
