Producers have been working hard to find a Bachelorette worthy of handing out roses off the back of Sophie Monk’s stellar season.
And now NW hears that Bachelor in Paradise beauty Ali Oetjen is at the top of their wish list after her romance with US Bachelorette star Grant Kemp fell apart.
“Every guy who walked into Paradise was obsessed with Ali, and so were fans,” spills NW’s source.
“She’s now had her heart broke twice in the public eye – first by Tim [Robards on The Bachelor] and now with Grant, so if anyone’s deserving of a fairy-tale, it’s her.”
In between those two tragedies, Ali had her world shattered once more when her engagement to “the most perfect man in the world” Dave Waldeck fell to pieces.

“Ali’s been put through the ringer so many times – it’s time she found the man of her dreams,” says the source.
“One that won’t screw her over.”
