Game Of Thrones star Maisie Williams, 19, has joined the voice cast of Aardaman’s new animation Early Man, a stop-motion comedy set at the dawn of time.
The project is director Nick Park’s first feature since Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit (2005).
Maisie isn’t the only big name behind these animated characters, with Eddie Redmayne, 35, voicing the hero Dug and Tom Hiddleston, 35, playing Lord Nooth.
Maisie will be playing Goona, a rebel who helps steer Dug through the clash of the Stone Age and Bronze Age civilisations.
“I’m a huge Aardman fan – having the chance to work with Nick Park is a dream come true especially as I get to voice such a fantastic character as Goona,” Maisie said. “I can’t wait for audiences to meet her.”
