Christmas is a mere week away, which means we’re painstakingly close to putting this train-wreck of a year behind us.
But before we do there’s one tiny glimmer of goodness that’s making the final days of 2020 a little brighter.
Not only is it finally the time of year when it’s socially acceptable to watch our favourite Christmas movie, Love Actually, but in even more exciting news, a Christmas miracle if you will, the cast have announced they’re reuniting.
We almost can’t believe it’s been 17 years since the film first graced our screens, but here we are feeling really old.
The reunion is set to take place as a virtual Christmas quiz, which is all too appropriate for a socially distanced festive season.
Martine McCutcheon who played Natalie is hosting the event in partnership with Comic Relief and is set to feature Bill Nighy (Billy Mack), Keira Knightley (Juliet), Kris Marshall (Colin), Olivia Olson (Joanna) and Thomas Brodie-Sangster (Sam).
Director Richard Curtis is also due to appear and share some never-before-revealed behind-the-scenes secrets.
Merry Christmas to us, indeed!
“After a difficult time for many this year, we could all do with some love in the form of a quiz, actually!” Martine told Digital Spy.
“It’s good festive fun that will take you back to your favourite scenes in the film, and will really test whether you know the film inside and out – and we’ve got some surprises too that I think you will love!”
Fans can take part in the quiz online anytime between now and January 29 with the proceeds going towards charity Comic Relief which works to eradicate poverty.

This isn’t the first time the cast have reunited, with almost everyone returning to film a mini sequel in 2017 as part of charity event Red Nose Day.
The ‘Where are they now?’ mini feature was a hilarious glimpse at all the characters 15 years on, that was equally as joyous as the original film.
