James Bond star Daniel Craig was seen making a splash on London’s River Thames as he filmed scenes for the upcoming film Spectre.
Daniel, 46, looked to be enjoying himself on the sunny but still chilly day in the British capital as he sped along the river in a speed boat while being filmed for the latest instalment of the Bond franchise.
He was seen standing alongside Rory Kinnear, who plays MI6 Chief of Staff Bill Tanner. Both looked very smart, rugged up in black coats, as they whizzed past the real life MI6 building which sits along the river.
Whenever the cameras weren’t rolling, the pair appeared to be having a rollicking good time on the waves, laughing and smiling together. As soon as they started shooting though, they switched their expressions to the steely ones that they’re known for in the Bond films.
The newest film was announced earlier this month, and will see Daniel Craig make his fourth appearance as Bond, as he is joined by French actress Lea Seydoux, Italian star Monica Bellucci and Oscar winning actor Christoph Waltz.
The movie’s script was unfortunately exposed by hackers who targeted Sony Pictures in a series of attacks that have affected other stars including Angelina Jolie.
Eon Productions, the studio behind the 007 franchise, released a statement threatening those who attempt to distribute it:
“Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios and Danjaq LLC will take all necessary steps to protect their rights against the persons who stole the screenplay, and against anyone who makes infringing uses of it or attempts to take commercial advantage of confidential property it knows to be stolen.”
For us, we’re happy to wait to see Daniel Craig himself in the role! Spectre is due to be released in November 2015.
