Exciting news for Heath Braxton fans!
The 31-year-old former River Boy will be starring in yet another film.
Dan Ewing will head up the cast for Aussie sci-fi film, Occupation.
And the Daily Telegraph have reported that his girlfriend Kat Risteska will be joining him on the sci-fi flick.
The film, which will be shot on the Gold Coast and Northern NSW, is now in its third week of production, and from what Dan and fellow cast members have shared – it looks like it will be a real treat.
The story line follows a group of small-town residents forced to band together to survive after a devastating ground invasion.
The residents fight to stay a step ahead of their attackers as they hatch plans to strike back.
Speaking about the new gig, Dan told Film Ink, “I am so excited to again be teaming up with Luke Sparke on his second feature.”
“The script has a vast scope but is grounded in very deep human realism and truth.”
Many familiar Aussie faces will be sharing the screen with the lovebirds including Home and Away alum Rhiannon Fish, Neighbours actor Charles Terrier, Puberty Blues’ Izzy Stevens and AFI award-winner Jacqueline McKenzie.
This will mark the second big project that has put Dan and his 25-year-old love on the same screen.
The pair both star in the 31-year-old’s upcoming footy flick Chasing Comets, which Dan acts opposite Isabel Lucas.
Dan, who split from his wife Marni last year, is constantly singing his girlfriend’s praises.
For her birthday he shared a very sweet tribute, penning, “Cheers to the big guy upstairs for blessing me with this aggressively kind, giving, savage, humble euro goddess I get to call my best friend and queen.”
