In Married At First Sight Australia 2024, Sara storms out of a dramatic dinner party after a fiery clash with her husband Tim that could end their marriage.
“I’ve never been yelled at like that in my life,” nutritionist Sara, 29, tells TV WEEK. “Tim was pointing at me and getting in my face. I felt I was being ganged up on and wanted to leave.”

Pressured by the demands of the relationship experiment, Sara had sought refuge in the company of friends, cancelling three dates with Tim to do so.
“The day after the honeymoon, I woke up feeling really overwhelmed,” she says. “I wanted to take the weekend to hang out with my friends.”
While she knew her decision might upset Tim, she’d considered his offers of a date “casual” and in passing. So when he arced up at the dinner party about being stood up, Sara says she was “completely blindsided”.

“Every time it came to a commitment ceremony or a dinner party, it felt like our dirty laundry was aired in front of everybody,” she reveals. “When it did come out and I tried to explain myself, he blew up in my face. So I stood up and said, ‘Don’t yell at me – I’ll ruin you’ and walked off.”
Sara says she feels intimidated by Tim, and that his display of a “major red flag” is going to taint their relationship – should it continue at all.
“There are moments where we feel really connected and great,” she says. “I try my best to stay hopeful, but I definitely have my concerns.”
Has Tim’s outburst cost him his relationship, and will Sara storming off be the last we see of her?
