Feedback Week is an opportunity for the Married At First Sight Australia 2024 contestants to give advice and question their fellow couples, but one pairing caught our attention: Jade and Jack.
Young Jade was tasked with giving Jack – one of the more controversial grooms this season – with some outsider feedback.
While Jack has felt the heat all season from his fellow contestants, he didn’t shy away from Jade’s questioning – in fact, he was all smiles.
“I was hoping this could be constructive,” Jack said. “I said, very early days you’d be a f—— fire cracker. You’re in the top three for me for good looking couples right now. I can read you, I thought you were going to have some good questions.”
Despite feeling quite nervous without her safety net Ridge by her side, Jade wasn’t discouraged to go straight for the kill and ask the question on every contestant’s lips. Why wasn’t Jack physically intimate with Tori? And what was “stopping” them?
“Tori said she goes to bed every night with nothing on,” Jade said.
“If I was getting into bed with nothing on and my partner didn’t try anything I would literally walk out the room and be like ‘you obviously don’t want to be with me’.”
To which Jack responded: “I can assure you were not a situationship okay. We have a very healthy relationship.”
“Is she the greatest thing ever? Well, no.”
According to Jack, there have been few opportunities to be “romantic” with Tori during the dating experiment. He did, however, admit that perhaps the physical intimacy would have “come quicker” had he been matched to someone more similar to him.
“It feels like a situationship,” Jade said. “I feel like your reasoning sucks.”
While speaking to the camera crew, Jack admitted he had “definitely dated people like Jade in the past.”
