Farmer Wants A Wife fans watched as Daisy was reduced to tears by love rival Jacinta, who told Todd Daisy wasn’t the girl for him.
Jacinta accused Daisy of “love bombing” Todd and being dishonest about sneaking out to have private time with him.
“She’s quite possessive of him,” says Jacinta. “Todd may see Daisy in a different light when he’s with her. He hasn’t got the full story. He deserves to know the truth.
“I think Daisy isn’t the right fit for Todd,” added the 34-year-old.
But a TV insider claims Todd ignored Jacinta’s concerns – and those of his family and friends – and viewers will see him pick Daisy on this week’s finale.
Even so, there are still concerns the 33-year-old made the wrong call. “Farmer Todd only has eyes for Daisy, despite some people saying she’s all wrong for him,” says one online commenter.
“Watching from the outside, she doesn’t seem the right fit,” adds another.
“I do think Daisy had some red flags,” added someone else of the gym owner, while some viewers even suggested Daisy’s brief marriage in 2020 was a troubling sign.
NOT AS SHE SEEMS
But desperate to tell her side of the story, the reality star – who is rumoured to have left Queensland and moved to NSW to be with Todd – has been outspoken on social media in recent weeks, claiming she’s been misrepresented on screen and didn’t come on as strong as it seems.
“It’s so heavily edited. This was not the conversation and so disappointed in Seven for even publicising this BS,” the 28-year-old commented on a social media clip shared by the network of her supposedly declaring her love for the Baan Baa cattle farmer.
“Disappointed. That’s all I can say. Just completely sick that not only myself, but friends and family of Todd have been portrayed as something that we are not.”
NOT ALL NEGATIVE
Daisy also seemingly gave the ending of the show away, by taking to Instagram on May 14 to tell fans to “tune in Sunday.”
“One of the worst nights of my life and we get to relive it together”, with a heart emoji and a picture of Todd, clearly revealing they’re a couple.
Todd, meanwhile, has decided to steer clear of making any public statements, but he has spoken out to defend his girl.
“The other thing that [the episode] didn’t show was that my friends said good stuff about Daisy too, it wasn’t all negative,” he says.
